DSC_7310Jamshedpur: The social organization Yuva, Jamshedpur took a batch of Sabar children to the zoo on a special trip. 32 children from Dengam, Otejharia and Karadkocha were a part of this trip.

The Sabar children from rural backgrounds were accompanied by urban children from CRDC, Parsudih. An opportunity was given to the rural children to mix with urban children and play with them.

It is worth mentioning that Yuva runs three tuition centres in three villages of Potka, namely Dhengam, Otejhari and Karadkocha. Besides, Sabar families are also being helped to participate in health awareness and take up kitchen gardening.

This programme is being run with the help of ASW and CWS.

The Sabar children were accompanied by Yuva secretary Barnali Chakraborty, treasurer Narendra Kumar, founder member Arbind Tiwary, Niru, Arup Mandal, Yudhisthir Gope, Mejati Sardar, Hambir Murmu, Sunil, director of CRDC Sonali Chakraborty, Punita and Lalita.
