101 units of blood were collected in the Annual Blood Donation Camp organized by Yuva and Sri Sri Shyama Puja Committee, Railway Traffic Colony, Jamshedpur, on April 24, 2010.

For the members of Yuva blood donation camps are a regular annual event and they have been organizing such camps for the last several years. In fact, blood donation camps are among the first activities that were started soon after Yuva was formed.

This year a decision was taken to seek the help of volunteers of Sri Sri Shyama Puja Committee too, who are a very enthusiastic lot and who wanted to take part in such a noble social activity as blood  donation. True to their words, the volunteers of Sri Sri Shyama Puja Committee worked very hard to make the blood donation camp a great success.

The blood donation camp was held on the premises of Railway Institute, Tatanagar on April 24th. The eminent social worker of Jamshedpur, Mr. Bailey Bodhanwala, too was present on the occasion and it was he would inaugurated the blood donation camp by lighting a ceremonial lamp. While, addressing a gathering of people, he appreciated the social work being carried out by YUVA in and around Jamshedpur.
